How To Replace A Kitchen Sink Faucet

Step 1: Gather Your Tools and Materials

Before you begin, you will need to gather the following tools and materials:

New kitchen sink faucet
Wrench
Plumber's putty

Step 2: Turn Off the Water Supply

Once you have gathered your tools and materials, you will need to turn off the water supply to your kitchen sink. There are usually two shut-off valves located under the sink, one for hot water and one for cold water. Turn both valves clockwise to shut off the water.

Step 3: Disconnect the Old Faucet

Once the water supply is turned off, you can begin disconnecting the old faucet. Use a wrench to loosen the nuts that are holding the faucet in place. Be careful not to overtighten the nuts, as this can damage the faucet or the sink.
